Every few weeks, my symphonic Pops arrangements are played by major orchestras all over the U.S. and Canada, including the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, the Boston Pops, the Houston Symphony, the National Symphony in D.C., the Indianapolis Symphony, and the Baltimore Symphony.
TV shows include The Wonder Pets!, The Magic Schoolbus, and HBO's Cathouse: The Musical, all currently airing internationally (see Film & TV Scoring Reel).
In the musical theatre, I recently orchestrated the Broadway-bound Harold Arlen musical ONE FOR MY BABY, which will try out at a major regional theatre in September 2014 after a phenomenally successful workshop production in New York in October, 2012.
Performers for whom I've written symphonic arrangements include Megan Hilty, Sandi Patty, Florence Henderson, Anika Noni Rose, Beth Leavel, Ann Hampton Callaway, Michael Cavanaugh, Tony DeSare, and Maureen McGovern.
My Fred Barton Broadway Orchestra regularly plays my showtune arrangements in New York, with many singers including Vivian Reed, Tari Kelly, Lee Roy Reams, Beth Leavel, Damon Kirsche, Pamela Myers, Anita Gillette, and Ryan Silverman.
